This picture is just showing how the rivet caps will be on the rubber cord once the cord is fastened in the barrel. The upper and lower rivet cap will be crimped on the cord, but the middle one is not crimped, so the cord can rotate inside the rivet cap and the rivet cap rotates inside the hole drilled in the top of the barrel. Crimp the bottom rivet on the cord, then push the rubber through the hole in barrel from inside the barrel, then put the middle and top rivet caps on the cord, sliding the middle cap into the hole in barrel and then pushing the top cap against the middle cap which also presses it against the bottom rivet cap at the same time....then crimp the top rivet cap while holding the caps in place.
