Red-Kote A NON-DRYING, SOOTHING, AND SOFTENING SKIN TREATMENT THAT STIMULATES NEW, HEALTHY SKIN GROWTH WHILE DISCOURAGING SCAR TISSUE FORMATION.
Developed during WWII under the name “Wound Heel,” Dr. Naylor’s Red-Kote has a new title but remains a staple among farmers, equestrians and pet owners. For fast, safe healing of lacerations, wire cuts, scratches, burns, chafes and other superficial wounds, thoroughly clean the wound area, and apply Red-Kote once or twice daily.
Red-Kote is non-drying, soothing, and softening, and stimulates new, healthy skin growth while discouraging scar tissue formation.
For animal use:

Active Ingredient(s): Phenol, biebrich scarlet red, isopropyl alcohol 6.2% by volume. In a soothing, softening vegetable oil base.
Indications: For use as an aid in the treatment of superficial wounds, surface and wire cuts, lacerations, slow healing ulcers, abrasions, rope burns and chafes in horses and dogs.
Dosage and Administration: Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before spraying. Keep the wound clean and dry.
Shake well. Remove the protective cap. Hold the container upright four (4) to six (6) inches from the animal and direct the spray at the site to be treated by pressing down the valve. Only a light coat is needed. Use either as an open wound treatment or under a bandage. Repeat once or twice a day or as indicated until healing takes place.
Thoroughly cleanse and sanitize the dauber after each use.
Precaution(s): Danger: Extremely flammable.
Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or an open flame. Exposure to temperatures above 120°F may cause bursting. Do not puncture or incinerate the can.
Caution(s): Keep out of the reach of children.
For external veterinary use only. Use only as directed. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to large areas of broken skin. Do not use on cats. Prevent dogs from licking the treated area. If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. In case of serious burns, deep or puncture wounds, consult a veterinarian. Avoid inhalation.
